FTC, First Tech Challenge, is an annual robotics competition between students in grades 7-12. FTC promotes critical thinking, advancing science, and technology, alongside gracious professionalism. Each year, participants design, build, and program robots to fit required specifications as well as design the robot for maximum efficiency in the ever-changing game. FIRST offers $50 million in scholarships annually.
Silicon Edge was founded in 2015. Their vision is to learn, not the conventional way, but to learn the right way. In school, you learn what tools you need to build a robot. But at Silicon Edge, when you need to assemble a robot, you learn what the tools are. You learn how to apply what you already know.
